About the presenter:
Michal Pesta joined the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF) in 2005 and works as an investigator on
cases of fraud, related to external EU aid in Africa, Asia and Middle East. He is also a Registered
Forensic Auditor at the Institute of Forensic Auditors in Belgium. Prior to joining OLAF, Mr. Pesta
worked at the American-European think-tank, EastWest Institute, where he specialized in research
focusing on the CIS countries (especially Ukraine, Moldova, the Caucasus, and Central Asia) as well as
in broader aspects of the European Union's policies towards these regions and its relationships with
the United States and Russia. In addition to his native Polish, Mr. Pesta is fluent in English and
French.

Locations for the 'Essentials of Anti-Corruption' training workshops
and the specialised training modules are decided by the AC
coordinators at the U4 Partner Agencies' Headquarters. Requests
by field offices for U4 In-country training can be forwarded to
them.
