The press release after the first 'Utstein Group' meeting between the international development ministers of Germany, The Netherlands, Norway and the United Kingdom. On the 25-26 of July 1999 they met at Utstein Abbey (Western Norway) to discuss future strategies for cooperation on a number of development issues. Among these were the issue of corruption. The document briefly sums up the means and ends of the Group's future work, as well as pledges and committments. (1999)
