Vera Devine

Vera has been working on anti-corruption issues since 2001, when she joined the Anti-corruption Division of the OECD after having spent almost four years in post-war Bosnia and Herzegovina working on refugee and humanitarian affairs. She has been involved with CMI/U4 on various research projects and as an expert for the Essentials of Anti-corruption Online Courses since 2005. Vera continues to work for a number of international organisations (the Council of Europe and the EC), mainly on corruption in the Western Balkans and the former Soviet Union, where her focus is on expert advice, and programme and project design for technical assistance interventions in the area of anti-corruption, rule of law, and good governance. For the past couple of years, Vera has repeatedly worked on the evaluation of the efficiency of donor efforts in the anti-corruption field.
