Onyinye Ough is a development practitioner and has studied and worked on issues of good governance within Nigeria for the past seven years. She has been involved in wide ranging initiatives through her previous work with the Zero Corruption Coalition and USAID Reforms project. These activities have ranged from helping to: (i) manage a whistle blower hotline in a federal ministry; (ii) coordinate a regional aspect of a campaign in 2007 elections to encourage Nigeria's voters to vote based on issues rather than sentiments. (iii) support to establish an anti-corruption unit in the Federal Ministry of Finance. She is currently working on public service reforms in Nigeria and writes regularly on issues of good governance on her blog ‘Step Up Nigeria’.
