U4 helpdesk reply

The U4 Helpdesk is happy to send you the response to your query with regards to countries who have signed and ratified the African Union convention on corruption: So far, 21 countries have signed the AU convention but none has ratified it. We have been advised that there is an upcoming African HoS meeting in Lybia on 27-28 February, where more countries are expected to sign. Attached please find a PDF file containing a full list of countries who have signed the convention. The treaty will come into force 30 days after the 15th instrument of ratification is received. But as noted above, so far there have been no ratifications.

Read the complete list of signatory countries.
