[this query was a preliminary answer not following ordinary standards and timetable of U4]

We are urgently looking for data on the level of corruption in the
following countries: Mozambique Benin Burkina Faso Mali Macedonia

The TI index does not include these countries. Is there any other
survey that might have data on the perceived level of corruption in
these countries, hopefully in such a way that I can somehow link it
to the TI index? Otherwise a qualitative statement will also do.

Please take a look at the 2002 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI).
While the countries you mention do not belong to those included in our official list, we report also the results for countries with less than 3 sources. All the countries you list are provided with such a rating. However, these are measured with less precision. The data is available in form of an Excel-sheet uploadable here.
